It is a peaceful area, with very natural surroundings and has a lovely scenery.<br>Since April 2003 we are included into to the marine-national parc of migjorn, (which comprises the area from Cabo Blanco to Cala Figuera.)<br><br><center><img src="images/Llave_cuadrada16F.gif" width="625" height="12"></center><br><br>It is part of the Municipality of Santanyí, which is some 4 km. away. Close by, going down the coast, in a western direction is Cala Llombards, followed by Cala S'almonia and es Calo d'es Moro (a very lovely place) in the heart of the countryside, alongside es Rafal and S'Avall in a Protected Natural Park.<br>Only 3 km. to the east is the very pittoresque fishing port of Cala Figuera and the Cala Mondrago Natural Park.<br><br><center><img src="images/Llave_cuadrada16F.gif" width="625" height="12"></center><br><br>There are some very interesting places in Cala Santanyí. In the bay itself is a slipway with the boathouses of the fishermen. There is a lovely underwater cave that is a must do for qualified divers (those who do not have the experience can learn it at the PADI <a href="http://www.pacosdiving.com/en.html">diving centre</a> located on the edge of the sea); Yet on the other side is a very old defence tower recently restored. However, there is no doubt the most famous landmark in Cala Santanyí is "Es Pontas", a stone arch carved out by the force of the waves.<br><br><center><img src="images/Llave_cuadrada16F.gif" width="625" height="12"><br><br><a href=vistas/Mapa.gif>How to arrive</a></center></b>-Car location: Requires a minimum location time of 3 days, see the <a href=cgi-bin/tarifas.pl?idioma=uk&frames=s&text=s&divisa=ESP#vima>price list</a><br>-Taxi: The price from the airport to Cala Santanyí is 47 Euros. <br>-Bus: we must take the line <a href=images/bus.jpg>n.1</a> From the airport to "plaza de España" in Palma and there take the line IB-33 (<a href=http://tib.caib.es/terrestre/doc/autobuses/IB-33Palma-Santanyi-CalaDOr.pdf >download timetable, PDF file</a>) that comes to Santanyí. a taxi from Santanyí to Cala Santanyí costs 9 Euros.<br><br><center><img src="images/Llave_cuadrada16F.gif" width="625" height="12"></center><br><br>The Resort consists of hotel and apartments, The hotel, located just a few metres from the sea and less than 100 m. from the beach, consists of two blocks joined by a tunnel, it has 94 double rooms and 10 single ones, providing a total of 198 beds, with air-conditioning in the dining room, the lounge and the Disco. There are two swimming pools, from which one is heated during the cooler months.<br>There are 7 apartment blocks with a total of 54 apartments plus 5 studios, providing a total of 172 beds and the entire complex is set in extensive gardens.</font></td> </tr> </table><br> </body>
